Modeling

Apollo Command Service Module

As a personal project, I modeled the various spacecraft flown by the United States during the space race. This is the Apollo Command Service Module, flown by NASA from 1968-1975, and the first manned capsule to take people to the moon. While in many ways the Gemini capsule was the most difficult to model, this was not without its challenges. It was particularly challenging to model some of the windows in the command module, and create a bump map for the service module. This was modeled in Maya, textures and bump maps were drawn in Photoshop, and was rendered with Arnold.

Gemini Capsule

As a personal project, I modeled the various spacecraft flown by the United States during the space race. The second of my capsules is the Gemini capsule, flown by NASA from 1964-1966. Overall, this was probably the most difficult of the space capsules I modeled. This would later be used in my animation test, Gemini EVA. This was modeled in Maya, the textures were created in Photoshop, and it was rendered with Arnold.

Mercury Capsule

As a personal project, I modeled the various spacecraft flown by the United States during the space race. This is the Mercury capsule flown from 1961 to 1963. This was the simplest of the capsules to model but I was happy with how it turned out! This was modeled in Maya, the textures were created in Photoshop and was rendered with Arnold.
